Reshoring Institute and American Cargoservice Announce Partnership to Bring Manufacturing Back to America

The organizations will be working together to provide assistance to companies reshoring their manufacturing back to the U.S.

SILICON VALLEY and SAN DIEGO, Calif. – January 6, 2016 –  The Reshoring Institute (www.ReshoringInstitute.org) and American Cargoservice, a San Diego-based freight forwarding company, (www.ACSSAN.com ) today jointly announced they have partnered to help companies bring manufacturing back to America. The organizations will be working together to assist companies that want to Reshore.

The partnership offers manufacturers full service project logistics when they consider bringing manufacturing back to the US. “We are delighted to partner with American Cargoservice and work together to support companies that have decided to reshore their production to the US. ACS San Diego offers expert assistance in moving production lines, equipment and products anywhere in the world,” says Rosemary Coates, Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute. “The Reshoring Institute assists by developing cost-comparison models, research and project management services.”

The Reshoring Institute offers downloadable research from its website, and personalized consulting assistance at reasonable fees, using student interns from the University of San Diego Graduate School of Business. The Institute’s mission is to provide research and support for companies bringing manufacturing and services back to America and to educate student interns about the business of manufacturing.
