Angel Mendez Joins the Board at the Reshoring Institute as Executive Director

Mr. Mendez will assist the Reshoring Institute in its efforts to help companies that want to reshore.

SILICON VALLEY AND SAN DIEGO, CA, USA, November 16, 2015 – The Reshoring Institute (www.ReshoringInstitute.org) announced today that Angel Mendez has joined the Board of Directors as Executive Advisor. In this role, Mr. Mendez will assist the Reshoring Institute in its strategic direction and efforts to assist companies in bringing manufacturing back to the US.

The Reshoring Institute offers downloadable research from its website, created and curated by student interns from the University Of San Diego Graduate School Of Business, and personalized consulting assistance at reasonable fees. The Institute’s mission is to provide research and support for companies bringing manufacturing and services back to America and to educate student interns about the business of manufacturing.

A recognized global transformation leader, Mendez brings over 30 years of management expertise with some of the world’s leading companies. Most recently Mendez served as SVP Cisco Transformation, leading the Accelerated Cisco Transformation Program, a multiyear effort that reinvented Cisco’s business model and enabled significant increases in growth and shareholder value. Prior to this role, Mendez lead Cisco’s Customer Value Chain Management organization, responsible for corporate quality assurance, demand management, new product introduction, strategic sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service.
