Manufacturing Day (MFG DAY) 2017
Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Although Manufacturing Day officially occurs on the first Friday in October—this year is Oct 6, 2017—every day can be a Manufacturing Day. Support the reshoring effort by attending an event!

MFG Day By the Numbers
We often mention how much Manufacturing Day continues to grow so that our supporters know how much of a difference their efforts are making. Year over year, it’s been quite a journey!
Six years in, we decided to put together an infographic that includes some of the collective highlights of MFG DAY 2012–2016.
Visit mfgday.com to download a JPG or PDF of the infographic and please share it with anyone who might be interested!
State Participants Still Needed!
Since 2014, all 50 U.S. states have participated in MFG DAY and it’s become a badge of pride for the movement.
So far this year, we still need Hosts in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
Be the first to register in one of these states and we’ll call attention to your event on social media!
Tell Us Your MFG DAY Success Story!
While we certainly like to share statistical information and talk about the effects of MFG DAY at large, we also really value stories about how companies, communities, and individuals have celebrated MFG DAY.
If you have a positive experience you’d like to share, please tell us about it by using the Success Stories form on the site. You can include a written account, photos, and even video.
Once we’ve reviewed your submission, we’ll publish it to mfgday.com!
