Non-Agriculture, requirements are:

  • The product must be substantially made by an individual located in California. For the purposes of the program, “substantially made” means completing an act that adds at least 51 percent of a final product’s wholesale value by manufacture, assembly, fabrication, or production to create a final, recognizable product
  • The program shall not apply to agricultural products subject to the Buy California Program
  • The finished product could lawfully use a “Made in U.S.A.” label and not violate Business and Professions Code section 17533.7 et seq.

Agriculture, sign up as a member online and then you will be contacted to see if you are approved. If approved, you can license the use of “CA Grown”
