Meet Our Guest, Rosemary Coates

Ms. Coates is the Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute and the President of Blue Silk Consulting, a Global Supply Chain consulting firm. She is a best-selling author of: 42 Rules for Sourcing and Manufacturing in China and 42 Rules for Superior Field Service and The Reshoring Guidebook.

Ms. Coates lives in Silicon Valley and has worked with over 80 clients worldwide. She is also an Expert Witness for legal cases involving global supply chain matters. She is passionate about Reshoring.

Meet Our Special Guest, Tanushree Ghosh

Tanushree Ghosh, is a Director at Intel Corporation, a social activist, and an author. She has a background in science and engineering (Ph.D., Cornell University) and 11 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and management. Her blog posts, op-eds, poems, and stories are in effort to provoke thoughts, especially towards issues concerning women and social justice. She is a contributor (past and present) to several popular e-zines incl. The Huffington Post US (where her first post on not returning to India as a mother of a daughter went viral overnight and was featured in the Yahoo news – she subsequently authored many successful op-eds for the post including on Syria war and western media’s coverage of the Brazil Olympic), The Logical Indian, Youth Ki Awaaz, Tribune India, Women’s Web, Thrive Global, and Cafe Dissensus (where she hosted her segment on social satire titled Black Light). Her literary resume includes poems and stories featured in national and international magazines (Words Pauses and Noises, UK; TUCK, Glimmer Train Honorable mention) as well as inclusion in nine anthologies such as Defiant Dreams (Oprah 2016 reading list placeholder) and The Best Asian Short Stories 2017 (published out of Singapore by Kitaab). Her first single author book is From An-Other Land (Dec, 2018, Readomania publishing, India) was featured in the NPR, USA. Her second solo work is on is scheduled to be out Summer 2021 (Oxford Publications). Her ninth anthology published over the summer of 2020 was on parenting during the pandemic by working mothers. She is the founder and director of Her Rights (www.herrights.website), a 501(3) c non-profit committed to furthering the cause of gender equality. She frequently speaks on diversity and inclusion in corporate and non-profits panels.
