Vermont Manufacturer Debuting High-speed Solution for the Mass-customization of Cylindrical Objects

A prominent integrator of industrial inkjet printers is expanding its cylindrical inkjet printers line and shortening lead times for equipment deliveries.

This month, Engineered Printing Solutions (EPS) announced the debut of its BottleJet DualSpin inkjet printer, a high-speed solution for the mass-customization of cylindrical objects that is set to advance the ad-specialty and drinkware industries. Featuring 2 x 2 operation, the new printer reduces downtime by allowing two parts to be loaded or unloaded without disrupting the simultaneous printing of two additional parts. It can reach a throughput speed of 450 parts an hour.

“Our new BottleJet DualSpin inkjet printer saves customers time and money thanks to its two loading stations and automatic features,” says Peter Baldwin, EPS’s marketing director. “You can now print up to four unique designs during a single print job!”

Joining the ranks of the original BottleJet cylindrical inkjet printer and the highspeed XD-360 cylindrical inkjet printer, the BottleJet DualSpin includes automatic ink recirculation, a UV light sensor, and automatic capping and maintenance schedule. Its 10 print heads enable extended color gamuts with seamless gradients of 1200 x 900 dpi and offer photorealistic quality.

Classified as an essential business throughout the pandemic, the Dorset, Vermont-based company is responding to reshoring trends by delivering its printing equipment to American manufacturers at a faster rate. EPS has streamlined its workflow and standardized subassemblies, including robotic parts-handling and pretreatment stations.
